At Shohet Ear Associates, we want to provide you with the highest quality care possible. And we believe that commitment includes delivering an unsurpassed level of service to our patients. Our Number One goal is your complete satisfaction with your experience as a patient.

In order to continue offering a high level of service, we regularly survey our patients on their experiences with our office. The responses are used to enhance the care we deliver and the office practices we use. In order to ensure accurate and unbiased results, we use a third-party web-based survey company to evaluate patient responses and generate summary reports. Surveys are completed online and submitted directly to the survey company.

We also utilize the results generated by outside providers to determine patient satisfaction. We compare these results to the data from our own survey to determine the reliability of our own findings. Respondents had the option of rating our performance as Excellent, Very Good, Good, Fair or Poor. Some of the areas on which we queried, and our ratings, were as follows:

• Overall satisfaction with your visit – 84% rated us as “Very Good or “Excellent”
• The likelihood you would refer a friend or family member to our office for care – 85% said “Very Good or “Excellent”

Our highest rating came from the response to “Confidence you felt in the Professional(s) who cared for you” – 92% rated us as “Very Good or “Excellent.”

Greater Newport Physicians Patient Satisfaction Survey Results for Shohet Ear Associates

Greater Newport Physicians (GNP) surveys its patients on an annual basis for their level of satisfaction with GNP specialists. In 2007, GNP patients responding to the survey rated Dr. Shohet a 98.93 out of a possible 100. In addition:

• 100% of GNP patients who saw Dr. Shohet would choose him again
• 100% would recommend him to a friend or loved one
